On the first of October this year Natasha Bailey took over the Riding School from Sue Lees and has 19 horses available for all ages, abilities, heights and weights.
Natasha started riding at the age of 6 and was taught by Sue at the Windmill Stables, riding there until she was 17 and joined the Army. Natasha moved back to Portland in April 2007 with her husband and young daughter, Jasmine. Natasha had always had a dream and ambition to own and run her own Riding School and Sue has given her the opportunity to do so now with 19 horses.

Natasha and Windmill Stables are particularly proud to be associated with Dean Brown, the 2006 British Junior Horse Riding champion. Dean began riding at Windmill Stables at the age of 6, completing his first endurance ride at age 7. He is awaiting the results of this year’s competition, expected to be announced December 1st. Good luck Dean!
* The all day course runs from 9.00 a.m. until 4.30p.m with tuition in the yard with the geese, chickens, ducks, dog and cat! Bring a packed lunch. The course includes 2 hours riding and tuition on how to look after horses for those who want to own their own horse.
During November at weekends the EXTRA SPECIAL OFFER is bring along a friend for a ride of at least an hour and the cost of the friend’s ride will be half price. This is in addition to your Pebble Card discount of £2.00 from the cost of a ride lasting 1 hour or more.
